Environment: Dynamics GP 10

Condition: A check batch is being printed using MaxQ AP/PR Laser Checks and the batch name has any of the following attributes:

1. It contains a  space

2. It contains a non-Alpha Numeric character

3. It exceeds 10 characters

Issue: The following error will occur after clicking process on the check batch posting screen:

An Error occured while executing the report copy stored procedure.

Details

Error(-2147217900) [Microsoft][SQL Native Client][SQL Server]Incorrect syntax near '*'.

This will cause the batch to be unavilable in the Print Check Copies screen.

Fix: Be sure that your check batch names do not include any of the attribues listed above.
